«Russian hackers» had no effect on the counting of votes in the elections, according to the FBI

Representatives of the Ministry of internal security and the Federal Bureau of investigation, the U.S. believes that «Russian hackers» did not affect the counting of votes at elections.

At a hearing of the select Committee on intelligence, U.S. Senate, Committee Chairman Richard Burr asked the agencies about how did hackers on the counting of votes. All three of them answered negatively to this question. At the hearing testifying the acting Director of the DHS Samuel Liles and Jeanette Manfra, as well as the assistant Director of the FBI counterintelligence bill Priestap.

Earlier, the American special services have accused Russia of hacking into the computers of the National Committee of the US democratic party. On this basis, they concluded that «Russian interference» in the elections. An investigation on the subject carried out the FBI and both houses of Congress. Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov called them «completely unfounded».
