The President of South Korea, moon Jae-In said he plans during his visit to the US to discuss a two-step approach to the DPRK nuclear issue, and called for renewed dialogue with Pyongyang.

«I hope that during the upcoming summit in the US, I will be able to discuss a two-step approach to the nuclear issue of North Korea: first freeze, and then complete folding (nuclear program),» said the President in an interview with the Washington Post.

«The President (of the USA Donald) trump and I share a common goal — which is to completely collapse the DPRK’s nuclear program and the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. In the process of working on this common goal, friendships and trust between us is very important. I hope that we will be able to demonstrate to the world that cooperation between our two countries is strong and will continue to become stronger,» said moon.

According to the South Korean leader to resolve the issue of the DPRK-needed dialogue. He said that he hoped to have Frank and open discussions with trump on this issue.
