The Russian foreign Ministry reported about the death of the senior counselor of the fourth CIS Department of the Russian foreign Ministry Andrei Nedosekin.

«The leadership of the Ministry and of the fourth Department of the CIS countries with deep regret I report the sudden death of a senior counselor 4 DSNG of Nedosekin Andrey Pavlovich,» reads the obituary published Wednesday on the website of the foreign Ministry.

«In all areas of the work of Andrei Nedosekin was distinguished by professionalism and a high degree of responsibility, attentive to colleagues. All his life he successfully defended the interests of the Fatherland. The leadership of the Ministry he repeatedly declared thanks. Light memory of Andrey Pavlovich Nedosekina, experienced diplomat, a good and responsive person, will remain forever in the hearts of his colleagues and all those who remembers him and knows,» — stated in the message.

Andrey Nedosekin was born 4 November 1954 in Moscow. After graduating in 1982, MGIMO MFA of the USSR more than 35 years of dedicated diplomatic service. Worked in the office at the General international issues, the division of the non-aligned movement, international organizations Department, Department of Europe, second European Department, the fourth Department of the CIS countries. Also worked abroad in the USSR Embassy, then Russian Federation in Ireland. Had a diplomatic rank of counselor of the first class.
