Self-portrait by American artist Andy Warhol based on his own photographs, which will be presented at auction Sotheby’s in London next week, estimated at 5-7 million pounds (6,33 to -8.8 million). This is stated in the message of the auction house.

Self-portrait in blue tones, was created by the artist in 1963, when he was 35 years with a series of photos which pop artist did himself in the cockpit of a photo booth in new York. It should be noted that at this time the artist was already known for his works «Green Coca-Cola bottles, Campbell’s Soup Cans and portraits of celebrities.

It is expected that work will be auctioned on June 28.
