Some streets in Moscow will block from 23 to 25 June in connection with the preparation and holding of events dedicated to the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha, reported the press service of the Department of regional security and combating corruption of the city on Thursday.

Friday from 10.00 to 14.00 the movement of vehicles will be restricted on the Big Tatar street (on the site of the Old Tolmachevskom lane to the Small Tatarsky lane). On Sunday from 04.00 to 11.00 traffic restrictions will be introduced: near Moscow Cathedral mosque — on the streets Durov, Shchepkina (a site from street Samara to the Garden ring), bourgeois, Gilyarovskogo street (site of Chepelskogo lane to the Garden ring), Kapellskar lane (the section from Prospekt Mira to the street Gilyarovskogo) and Vypolzov pereulok house district 7.

Restrict movement and close to the Historic mosques on the streets: Most Tatar, Stary Tolmachevsky pereulok, Maly Tatarsky pereulok, Klimentovsky pereulok, Ozerkovskaya lane. Close to a Mosque «Shuhada» street yuzhnobutovskaya (site of Ostaf street to Buninskaya Avenue); on the streets of Minsk (the area from Mosfilmovskaya street to Kutuzovsky Prospekt); on Andropov Avenue opposite the house 11, the housing 2.

In addition, on Sunday from 04.00 to 11.00 the movement of vehicles would be difficult on land near mosques «Yardyam» and «Inam» on the street Khachaturian (site of Altuf’evskoe shosse street Otradnaya) in connection with limitation of motion in the right lane. Also will be temporarily suspended embarkation and disembarkation of passengers of ground public transport in this area. On the same day from 07.00 to 08.30 will be closed metro station «Minskaya» on the entry of passengers.

The Muslim Holy month of Ramadan, during which they observe a strict fast began this year on may 27. Throughout lent, the faithful (except for certain categories of people, such as children and the elderly) are prescribed to completely refrain from eating and drinking during daylight hours. Every evening after the prayer is breaking the fast — iftar. A few days later, on June 25, Muslims will celebrate Eid al-Fitr (Arabic name — «Eid al-Fitr»). It is the holiday of breaking the fast after the fasting month of Ramadan.

The first day of Eid al-Fitr on 25 June the early morning festive prayers will begin in all four complexes of the mosques of the city of Moscow in the Moscow historical mosque, the complex of mosques «Inam» and «Yardyam» at the estate, Memorial and the Moscow Cathedral mosques.

The city government for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr also allocated an additional temporary places: in the South — on the land at the Sports and fitness complex «emerald», in the South — on the land plot near the building of the South river station in VAO in hall 4 parks of culture and rest «Sokolniki».
