Indian authorities have asked the two local airlines to make additional flights between the Qatari capital and the Indian cities on the background of the crisis around Doha, said the Minister for civil aviation Ashok, Gajapati.

Earlier it was reported that twelve areas in four countries closed to international airport «Hamad» the capital of Qatar from neighbouring countries. Closed direct flights to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt, which supported the blockade of Qatar.

«We will carry out additional flights between Doha and Trivandrum, Cochin and Mumbai for our citizens who can’t get tickets to Doha,» said Gajapati in his account on the social network Twitter.

He noted that the flights 22 and 23 June will carry out airline Jet Airways, flights in the period from 25 June to 8 July — Air India Express.

«We will secure all the necessary steps to move our citizens from Doha in time,» added Gajapati.

After the start of the crisis in relations between Qatar and other Arab States Saudi Arabia and the UAE not only closed for Qatar Airways airspace, but also ordered the closing of all offices of the company.

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt on 5 June severed diplomatic relations with Doha and stopped with Qatar every message, accusing him of supporting terrorism and interference in their internal Affairs. Later on the rupture of diplomatic relations also said the Maldives, Mauritius, Mauritania. Jordan and Djibouti have reduced the level of its diplomatic missions in Qatar. Senegal, Niger and Chad announced the withdrawal of ambassadors.
