Russian scientists present at the beginning of 2018 the world’s first 3D printer to print three metals, said to RIA Novosti, the Fund of perspective researches (FPI).

«Laboratory of additive technologies and engineering materials – a joint project of DCF, the Ministry of education, Nizhny Novgorod state University and Scientific-research physico-technical Institute of NNSU — finish in early 2018 the development of the world’s first 3D printer, printing the three metal powders», — stated in the message.

As stated at the forum of technological development «TechnoProm-2017» head of laboratory, Director of Scientific-research physico-technical Institute of Nizhny Novgorod state University (NNSU nifti) Vladimir Chuvilyaev, at the moment such a machine exists today to create a program that will allow you to obtain high quality products on this machine.

«Developers will be able to produce 3D printers for different tasks, in particular for the production of medical prostheses. Machines that print multiple powders in the world yet. In Germany, this development began in 2016. We have proactive, at least for a year,» said Cheveldae.

Scientific idea that is at the heart of the new technology of 3D printing metal products created by the laboratory of additive technologies and engineering materials appeared about five years ago a group of scientists and researchers nifti UNN.

«Then came the idea of creating MNOGOOTRASLEVOE a 3D printer that will allow each «point» of the created item to the desired composition and, therefore, to provide the necessary physical and mechanical properties,» — said in the DRF.
