Tatyana Kirienko became the first woman in the history included in the Executive Committee of the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) – a Russian woman was appointed Vice-President of the organization, reported on the official site of Federation of Boxing of Russia.

Kiriyenko also holds the position of head of administration of Federation of Boxing of Russia. To date, the Executive Committee consisted of only men. Membership in the Confederation gives the right to participate in making laws and innovations in the Olympic Boxing at the European level.

European Boxing Confederation is the governing body of Amateur Boxing in Europe and is part of the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA). EUBC was founded on 16 Feb 2009 and has assumed the functions of the former European Amateur Boxing Association.
