United States in the next few days will announce the supply to India 22 Guardian drones worth more than two billion dollars, reports Reuters, citing close to the deal sources.

Drones are a kind of Guardian Predator UAV General Atomics, is designed to fly above the sea surface. The UAV can make flights lasting more than a day.

India has sent an official request for the acquisition of UAVs in June 2016. It is noted that approval of the contract will be announced on the eve of the U.S. visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra modi, who will arrive in Washington on June 25.

The transaction must be approved in Congress.
