The Shevchenkovsky district court of Kiev chose a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest alleged accomplice of the chief editor of the Ukrainian Internet-editions «Strenia» Igor Guzhva, who is suspected of extortion, said on Saturday the press Secretary of the Prosecutor’s office of Kiev Hope the maximes.

Earlier Guzhva was detained in Kiev on suspicion that extorted money from the Deputy of the Radical party Dmitry Linko. According to police, the journalist demanded 20 thousand dollars and got half of them for placement of incriminating material on politics, the Prosecutor General announced the availability of video and audiocasettes.
