Roizman became the eighth candidate for Governor of Sverdlovsk region

Mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman filed documents for participation in elections of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region from the «Yabloko» party, reported on Friday on the website of the Sverdlovsk electoral Commission.

Earlier in the regional election Commission documents filed seven contenders: Dmitriy Sergin from «Russian party of pensioners for social justice,» Dmitri Ionin «Fair Russia», Alexey Parfyonov from the Communist party, Yevgeny Kuyvashev from the «United Russia», Konstantin Kiselev from «Russian ecological party», Igor Toroshin from the liberal democratic party and Victor Kostromin from the party «People against corruption».

«Twenty-third of June the working group of the Electoral Commission of the Sverdlovsk region to receive and verify documents submitted during the nomination and registration of candidates for the post of Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, was approached Yevgeny Roizman. Previously, he was nominated for Governor at the session of the Federal Bureau of the Yabloko party, held in Moscow», — stated in the message.

The Department clarifies that members of the working group checked the documents submitted by Roizman. Following consideration of the Chairman of the electoral Commission of the Sverdlovsk region Valery Dummies gave Yevgeny Roizman written acknowledgement of receipt of documents, and also gave permission to open a special electoral account of a candidate for the formation of his electoral Fund.

From that day, Roizman can start collecting signatures in support of his nomination, says the electoral Commission.
