The Pacific coast of Mexico formed tropical storm

The tropical storm, which forecasters have named «Dora» (Dora), has formed off the Pacific coast of Mexico, reports associated Press with reference to national centre for the prevention of hurricanes USA (NHC).

The storm was recorded at approximately 265 kilometres South-West of the Mexican city of Acapulco. The maximum wind speed is 65 miles per hour. Forecasters do not exclude that on Monday, the storm will gain strength. It is expected that the storm passes along the coastline and will bring in heavy rains.

A tropical storm is named, when the speed of the accompanying wind reaches 62 miles per hour. The storm becomes a hurricane when wind speed exceeds 119 kilometers per hour.
