Unknown night in the Kharkiv region have undermined the nationalized ATM in Ukraine, PrivatBank, announced on Monday a press-service of the regional police Department.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Monday night around 02.30 (same as GMT) in the village High.

«The duty of the Kharkiv branch of the police received a report from a duty officer at the train station «Oktyabrskaya». He said that in the village High in front of the shop, three unknown persons in camouflage unidentified explosive device damaged an ATM and stole the money», — stated in the message.

The leadership of the police and investigatory-operative group left at the specified address, Agency staff conducted an inspection of the scene, the amount of the stolen money is established, have informed in a press-service.

According to law enforcement, investigations are underway to arrest the persons involved in the offense, a criminal case under article «Theft». The sanction of article provides till eight years of imprisonment.
