The head of the Council of Muftis of Russia (SMR) Ravil Gainutdin at a meeting with parishioners of the Moscow Cathedral mosque urged fellow believers to work more with the users of popular social networks.

«We need to pay close attention to the social network. Today the young people enjoy them a lot more than pay attention to the websites, Newspapers or TV. The leaders of spiritual centers, I strongly recommend to focus the work in this direction. We need to be able to argue, argue with facts, to convince, but in any case not to walk away from the conversation with the opponents», — said the head of the CMP.

Religious leader also noted that in recent years the spiritual management relating to construction, able to establish and strengthen the work sites and social networks among Muslims.

«Our resources are read not only by followers of Islam. Therefore, the language of communication with your readers should be relevant to all readers,» — said the Gainutdin.

He stressed that «skillful conversation» in social networks can be another barrier to extremism and terrorism.
