The CPS proposes a renewal of the resolution on the prohibition of trade of alcohol products, the renewal terms are being discussed, told reporters the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

Retail trade of non-food alcohol-containing products were suspended for 30 days from December 23 last year after a mass poisoning of people in a number of regions fake cosmetic «Hawthorn». Then the ban was extended for another 60 days — to mid-April, and in late March, Popova reported that it will be extended for another 90 days.

«The government has developed a plan that is executed, we proposed renewal of the resolution on the prohibition of sale of alcohol products,» — said Popov, noting that the extension period is still under discussion.

The head of the Supervisory Department also noted that the situation that has developed in the Moscow and Astrakhan regions, associated with the use of products that are not purchased in the trading network.

«Do law enforcement agencies to understand where people got the poison,» she added.

Earlier it was reported that five adults and two teenagers ahtubinsk district of Astrakhan region suffered unspecified alcohol-containing liquid, as a result, four people died, three more are in the hospital.

In addition, last week in Sergiev Posad in the intensive care unit of the hospital were delivered by 11 local residents with poisoning by an unknown substance.
