The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel at a meeting June 28 in Krasnodar will discuss the implementation of the Minsk agreements in Ukraine, the fight against international terrorism and the peace process in Syria, said Tuesday the Russian foreign Ministry.

«We will continue the exchange of views on key international issues, including the implementation of the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and the peace process in Syria, on issues of European security and combating international terrorism. The Ministers will discuss the current state of Russian-German relations, and practical issues on the bilateral agenda», — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.

In addition, the Ministers will discuss Russian-German cooperation in the framework of the «group of twenty» given the German presidency in this format and the upcoming summit, which will be held on 7-8 July in Hamburg.

Ministers on 28 June will also participate in the opening 14 of the Russian-German conference of cities-partners.

As stated in the Russian foreign Ministry, the conference «seeks to give additional impetus to the cooperation of sister cities», today there are about 100 pairs. The conference will also be announced on the launch of the cross year of the regional municipal partnerships 2017-2018 under the patronage of the ministries of foreign Affairs of Germany and Russia.
