The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) will require «Rosneft» in the framework of the purchase of Bashneft to sell slightly more than 10 gas stations in three to four regions of Russia, the final decision is likely in mid-August, reported RIA Novosti head of Department of regulation of fuel and energy complex FAS Dmitry Makhonin.

Rosneft in October 2016 has closed a deal to buy 50,0755% of shares of «Bashneft» the state of 329.7 billion.

In late November the Federal Antimonopoly service approved the petition «Rosneft» about purchase of shares of «Bashneft», but have issued instructions with a number of requirements. In particular, the company should within two years to sell petrol stations in those regions where the total share on the retail markets of motor fuel, «Rosneft» and «Bashneft» will exceed 50%. Also «Rosneft» will have to develop and submit for approval to the FAS changes in trade policy and changes in the development of the wholesale sale of petroleum products.

Deputy head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin at the end of April said that the analysis of how many gas stations will have to sell, is still under consideration, but it is close to completion.

«In July, is an analysis of the market is likely somewhere in the middle of August the results will be. «Rosneft» and «Bashneft» have crossed just three or four regions. There will be 10 small filling stations (prescribed sell — ed.)», — said RIA Novosti Makhonin.
