Representing the national team in international competitions in synchronized swimming, the Russian athlete Evgeny Shtefan, who dropped the drone on the car of the Dubai police, paid a fine for damage to property to the police and flies to Russia on Friday, told RIA Novosti the sportswoman.

«The judge gave me a fine of 1,000 dirhams (270 dollars), I paid him and after some time got back his passport. On Friday morning I finally fly out of Dubai,» said the athlete, who now works as a coach in synchronized swimming in Moscow. According to her, originally prescribed to her the fine amounted to 24 thousand dirhams (about 6,5 thousand dollars), however then it reduced.

The incident with the 23-year-old athlete was may 19. The Russian woman who came to Dubai for three days, it has launched a drone from an international financial centre (Dubai International Financial Centre). The drone ran out of batteries, she lost control of him and he accidentally fell on a police car, damaging a side mirror. In total she has had to carry out in Dubai about 2 months. During this time held two court sessions.
