The Prime Minister of Iraq Haider al-Abadi has called «the end of gilowska lagoudera»*the liberation of the mosques of Mosul and vowed to pursue militants in Iraq to the last, reported the press service of the Prime Minister.

Command of the operation to liberate Mosul, ongoing since October last year, said earlier on Thursday that the Iraqi army drove the militants from the territory in the center of Mosul, which was blown up by the radical mosque of the city.

«Undermining the militants of the mosque an-Nuri with minaret al-Hadba and return it today in the bosom of the Motherland — the announcement of the end of gilowska lagoudera,» said al-Abadi.

The Prime Minister said in an official statement that the armed forces of Iraq will continue to pursue the terrorists to the last. «We will continue to pursue the ISIS, killing and taking into captivity, till the last militant in Iraq,» he said.

Sky News Arabia earlier reported, citing the defense Ministry of Iraq that the terrorists no longer control neither the Mosul area.
