Russian Vladislav Larin won the silver medal in the weight category up to 87 kg in the world Taekwondo Championships in South Korea’s Muju.

In the final Larin with the score 9:11 was lost to the German Alexander Bachmann. Bronze medals in this weight went to the South Korean Kyu-Dong Ins and the Slovenian Ivan Trajkovic.

In the weight category over 87 kg Russian Roman Kuznetsov in the semifinals lost to the British Mahama Cho (4:22), which is then in a decisive duel conceded to Abdul Yssouf (4:9) from Niger. The second bronze went to the back Gabonese Anthony Obame.

In the women’s competition in the weight category up to 73 kg was won by the Serbian Milica Mandic in the final who defeated juznokorejsko Oh Hye Ri. Bronze medals were won by Mexican Maria Espinosa and Dutch Reshma Oohing.
