In Venezuela during protests injured 20 people

Health service district of baruta in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas said on Thursday about the 17 victims of the crackdown on protests.

According to the head of service Enrique Moderna, among the victims, six were injured from rubber bullets and shot, three got the charges of tear gas, eight people got gas poisoning.

Portal Nacional reports that over 20 students were arrested and subjected to abuse by law enforcement agencies in the district of El Rosal. So, the police allegedly put detainees into a truck, and then threw in a grenade with tear gas.

In Venezuela since early April, are mass protests after the Supreme court’s decision to severely limit the power of opposition in the National Assembly. The decision was reversed, but opposition supporters took to the streets demanding the resignation of the members of the court and the holding of early elections and against the constituent Assembly, considering it an attempt to change the Constitution. According to recent reports, the death toll reached 77 people.
