The preliminary investigation is conducted in respect of 35 German police officers suspected of abuse of power during the riots in Hamburg during the summit of «Big twenty», has told the newspaper Welt, the representative of the city authorities Christoph Luers.

According to him, most policemen tested in connection with causing them bodily harm during the performance of official duties.

«As experience shows, the number of inspections in the following days will continue to grow,» said Lyurs.

The summit of «Big twenty» (G20) took place in Hamburg on 7-8 July. The summit was accompanied by unprecedented riots organized by anti-globalists, and other enemies of the event.
