Violators of anti-doping rules will be deprived of the right to the scholarship of the President

Athletes, coaches or other specialists who have been convicted of doping, lose the right to receive scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation, according to a new presidential decree, published on the official Kremlin website.

On Saturday Vladimir Putin signed a decree «On amendments to the regulations on the procedure for payment of scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation to the athletes, coaches and other experts of sports national teams of the Russian Federation on kinds of sports included in the Olympic games, Paralympic games and Deaflympics, the Olympic Champions, Paralympic games and Deaflympics, approved by the presidential decree from March 31, 2011

According to this decree, any athlete or coach whose anti-doping rule violation is recognized, has no right to rely on the scholarship of the President.
