Testing Russian aircraft MS-21 in a standard mode, the case moves to the next stage, said Monday Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

«The tests are normal, now the first flight model of the aircraft is situated at the Irkutsk aviation plant, it comes to the next stage of trials», — said Rogozin at the second meeting of the Aviation Board at government House.

According to him, the meeting will hear the report of the management of the Corporation «Irkut» on the progress of flight testing and preparation for serial production of MS-21 airliner.

MS-21 Russian aircraft, which will be produced at the Irkutsk aviation plant in three versions: MS-21-200 (150 seats), MS-21-300 (180 seats) and MS-21-400 (212 seats). At the moment there are firm orders for 175 aircraft. New aircraft for the first time used composite wing for civil aircraft of this class.
