Office robbery wheelchair Anton Mamaev was released from jail by decision of the same judge that put him there, he told reporters on Wednesday, the lawyer Andrey Orlov.
«My client was released the same judge who sent him into custody, and only after a glaring mistake was made public,» said the defender.
According to him, the defense will continue to make excuses for the disabled in the courts: «Our task is to prove the groundlessness of the accusations».
Disabled held in jail for 19 days, where he was in the care of a convicted business unit, said the lawyer. After he was sent to the hospital, he began to feel better, «but the disease will not go away».
Meanwhile in court, RIA Novosti said, why the judge couldn’t sentence to assess whether the condition of the disabled person to keep him in jail.
«In accordance with the rules approved by the RF government decree of 14 January 2011 on a medical examination … shall be persons against whom preventive measure in form of detention,» — said the press Secretary Timiryazevsky court Maria Prokhorycheva.
According to her, Mamaev during the investigation and trial was under house arrest, so by law, no one checked whether it can be put in the detention center.
