The Minister of economy and energy in Germany Brigitte zypris urged the United States to discuss with the EU the possible effects of the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions for the European Union.

In relation to the economy of the Russian Federation the bill expanding the number of sectoral sanctions. In particular, it reduces the maximum term of financing of Russian banks under US sanctions, up to 14 days, oil and gas companies, up to 60 days (now 30 days and 90 days, respectively).

The bill also suggests that the US President can impose sanctions on persons intending to invest in the construction of Russian export pipelines over $ 5 million a year or $ 1 million lump sum, or provide the projects, services, technology, to provide information support. In this document it is indicated that the United States will continue to oppose construction of the pipeline «Nord stream-2».

The Kremlin said that extremely negative about the bill, and the EU called it «unilateral actions of Washington.»
