Investigative authorities completed the investigation of criminal case concerning the former policeman for taking bribes reported dead in one of the ritual services of Veliky Novgorod, according to the SUCK of the Russian Federation in the Novgorod region.

«According to investigators, in the period from September 2016 to March 2017, the accused received bribes for providing information to the employees of one of the ritual services of the city of Veliky Novgorod on the facts of death of citizens. Staff the funeral service was in place before his colleagues and the first offered burial. For providing information the officer had received from 500 to 3 thousand rubles», — stated in the message.

The criminal case against the former head of the shift duty of the Moi of Russia in Veliky Novgorod was opened under article «petty bribery». He is accused of committing 26 offences, said SUCK.

Criminal case with the approved Prosecutor indictment is directed to court for consideration in essence, informs regional investigatory management.

In turn, the General Prosecutor’s office reported that the guilt former policeman fully admitted.
