The Russian CEC has sent an invitation to participate in the competition to develop the concept of reporting about presidential elections in several major media outlets including news agencies, RIA Novosti, TASS, First channel, VGTRK and NTV, reported RIA Novosti Deputy head of the Central electoral Commission Nikolay Bulaev.

Earlier, the Central election Commission has announced a contest for creation of the concept of outreach activities of the CEC during the preparation and conduct of presidential elections of 2018. The contest will run from 20 July to 10 August 2017. Already approved by the jury, headed by the Chairman of the Duma Committee on Informatica Leonid Levin. As previously reported Bulaev, the CEC suggests he should be invited to participate in the contest some of the leading media companies of Russia.

«We sent invitations to all the leading television channels, news agencies. This is the First channel, VGTRK, NTV, ITAR-TASS, RIA Novosti, Komsomolskaya Pravda, reported Bulaev.

In total, invitations were sent to more than a dozen major media outlets, he said. Asked to clarify, whether the CEC sent a similar invitation to the PR Agency, the Deputy Minister said that special invitations for them.

«I hope they will come to the competition is their professional job. We invited those who are usually on tender procedures do not go, we wanted to motivate them to participate. We are confident that the answers will be, at least, asking interested», — he added.

Bulaev noted that while applications for participation in competition was received.
