The international Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that Los Angeles has officially put forward a bid to host the summer Olympic games in 2028, as reported on the official website of the IOC.

Los Angeles and Paris were the only candidates to host the Olympic games 2024 or 2028 years, but it was not known which of the cities in which games will take. In July it was reported that the IOC is going to come to a tripartite agreement with the Paris and Los Angeles, before the IOC session in September may be decided that a single city will host the Games in 2024 and the other is the Olympic games 2028.

Previously, the city Council of Los Angeles confirmed that the IOC agreed to hold the city in 2028 summer Olympic games.
