Vice-President Mike Pence, who is visiting Tbilisi, said that the American side wants to establish with Russia a good relationship.

The U.S. Senate adopted the law on sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea. Earlier last week, the house of representatives of the United States Congress adopted by an overwhelming majority. Now the U.S. President has 10 days to sign or reject the law.

«We want the abolition of these sanctions and wish to have good relations, but this can be achieved only after the Russian party will cease to carry out destructive actions,» said Pence during a joint press conference with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Vice-President of the United States with his wife, Karen Pence and the official delegation arrived in Georgia on a two-day visit to Tallinn where he met with the leaders of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
