Russia will not go ahead with measures against Moldova or Romania because of their actions against the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin, but an adequate response will follow, said in an interview with the newspaper «Kommersant», the state Secretary, Deputy foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.

«We act accurately and not so emotionally as some international players. Hurry up we with it (response) will not. But the fact that these actions were an adequate answer, no doubt about that,» said Karasin, answering the question, should I now be expected from Moscow introducing sanctions against Chisinau or Bucharest.

On Wednesday the government of Moldova announced the Russian Deputy Prime Minister persona non grata. According to the Minister of foreign Affairs and European integration Minister Andrei Galbur, the corresponding measure is taken in view of the fact that Rogozin, recently made several statements, which «are denigrating, offensive and hostile character». The Russian foreign Ministry expressed protest to the Ambassador of Moldova. The Ministry said that the announcement Rogozin persona non grata in Moldova could have a severe destabilizing effect on the overall situation in the region.
