We are talking about a quarter of the ancient Vienna, the former one of the chief towns of Gaul under the rule of the Romans at the end of the II century BC

The area is about 7 thousand square meters, and has preserved many fragments of mosaics covering, furniture and other structures and objects. Of particular interest is the collapsed building, which dates from the second half of the I century ad and was called the «House of orgies» in connection with scenes that adorn its mosaic pavements.
