First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov hopes that the tax burden on small and medium business in Russia will not rise in the next political cycle.

Speaking at a session of the «company Towns — boiling point» investment forum in Udmurtia, he noted that tax and other fiscal burden on business should not be increased.

«Of course, it is important to ensure and nepovyshenie taxes and General stability of tax and other fiscal burden…. The debate on taxes will be held, the Parliament’s decision. I hope that the next cycle of six years will also be stable, and (will – ed.) favorable conditions of work of small and medium business», — said Shuvalov.

In Russia, until 2018, a moratorium on tax increases. In his address to the Federal Assembly in December 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to consider in 2017 ideas on the future configuration of the tax system. The government has been given until the end of the year to submit proposals on the key parameters of the tax system in 2019 and subsequent years.

Speaking about the improvement of single-industry towns, Shuvalov noted that it is wrong to try on a uniform, rigorous approach for all cities. There are cities where you can oblige the business to conduct any additional work, and there are cities where business requires significant support, said Deputy Prime Minister.
