At least 60% of signatures of municipal deputies remained unclaimed with the passage of the municipal filter on gubernatorial elections that will take place in 16 Russian regions in uniform day of vote on 10 September, said the Deputy head of the CEC of Russia Nikolay Bulaev.

During the meeting on Wednesday, he referred to the statement of the candidate from the party «Yabloko» in the elections of the Sverdlovsk Governor Yevgeny Roizman on obstruction of the municipal filter for most candidates.

«We sum up the collected signatures in those regions where there are elections. The General conclusion is that at least 60% of signatures of municipal deputies remained unclaimed because they are free, did not apply to them. So when we are talking about the fact that the municipal filter can’t pass, probably, there is a certain inaccuracy and impropriety, wouldn’t want to say rougher,» said Bulaev.

Now the «Apple» in those regions where gubernatorial elections will take place, is, in General, all municipal authorities 26 deputies, he said. However, Bulaev noted a rare participation of the party in elections at the municipal level.

«For example, in the Sverdlovsk region 164 of the municipal campaigns of Yabloko participated 11 times, presenting in this election, 77 candidates won some of them. To talk about any pressure, only when there is the fact of participation in the campaign; if there is no participation in the election campaign, we can say that we do not participate, because we interfere», — said the Deputy head of the CEC.
