The explosion in a mosque in Afghanistan killed about 30 people, 64 injured

The death toll in an explosion at a mosque in Afghanistan’s Herat province has risen to 29 people, and another 64 people were injured, the TV channel Tolo News, citing the Governor of the province Mohammad Asif Rahimi.

Earlier it was reported about 20 dead and 30 wounded.

The explosion occurred on Tuesday at a Shiite mosque in the West of the city. Local authorities reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up in front of the building, and then the second attacker opened fire on worshipers in a mosque.
