Swede Sjostrom with the world record won a world Cup on swimming

Swede Sarah Sjostrom won with a world record in the 100m freestyle at the stage of the swimming world Cup in Moscow.

Sjostrom swam a distance of 50.77 seconds. The previous world record (50,91) belonged to the Australian cate Campbell and was installed in November 2015.

The second was the Dutch Ranomi, Kromowidjojo (of 51.14), third — Campbell (of 51.59).

Russian woman Veronika Fedorova became the fifth (52,99), showing the same time of Italian Federica Pellegrini. Daria Kartashova took 7-th place (54.09), Daria Ustinova – eighth (54,29).

A day earlier, Sjostrom has set a world record in the 50m freestyle.

World cups are held on short water.
