The Russian government approved the passport of a priority project «New footage of modern health care», reported on the website of the Cabinet.

«Following the meeting of the Presidium of the Council under the Russian President for strategic development and priority projects 26 Jul 2017 approved the passport of a priority project «New footage of modern health care», — stated in the message.

It is noted that a key aim of the project is to provide the industry with qualified professionals through the introduction of a new procedure for granting a permit to the profession, accreditation of professionals, and implement a continuous system of additional professional education of physicians using interactive educational modules.

The implementation of the priority project will establish a system of continuous medical education of specialists and to go on a fundamentally new mechanism of admission to the professional activities that should significantly enhance the level of professional competence of health workers and to provide the sector with qualified specialists.

According to the document, by 2020, through the process of accreditation must obtain admission to the professional activities of 25% of specialists, and in 2025 — 100% of professionals. To do this, in 2018, will ensure the functioning 97 accreditation-simulation centers in 2019 — 105 centres, and in 2025 — 114. Added that in 2017, 20% of physicians will receive continuing professional education using interactive educational modules; in 2019, their share should reach 60%, and in 2025 — 99%.

It is specified that by the end of 2019 will be developed 64 updated educational standards of personnel training of higher qualification for residency programs considering the requirements of professional standards. Already in 2017 will be developed 1000 interactive educational modules included into the system of continuous medical education, in 2019, these modules should not be less than 3000, and in 2025 — 5000.

The duration of the project: July 2017 and 2025 (inclusive).
