. In Kazakhstan consider the possibility of imposing a ban on religious education abroad, to limit the risks of impact on citizens extremists, said the Minister of religious Affairs and civil society of the Republic of Nurlan Yermekbayev.

«We generally aim to the degree of bachelor of religious education received abroad only after receiving education in Kazakhstan. The masters degree and doctorate – both in the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan (SAMK). And eventually to stop the teaching of religious disciplines abroad,» said Yermekbayev, at the press conference on Thursday.

According to Yermekbayev, today headed by the Ministry in collaboration with SAMC encourage citizens to ensure that they went «voluntarily, spontaneously abroad to receive religious education,» because, having such education without the direction of spiritual control, they will not be employed in the system of SAMK.

«If they go simply in order to get the kind of education they should understand that they carry great risks. They can fall under the influence of destructive radical preachers abroad», — said the Minister.

According to him, religious education abroad is currently receiving around 300 Kazakh citizens.
