The situation with the announcement, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin persona non grata in Moldova is absolutely unacceptable, said press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

«Much worse (than the introduction of US sanctions — ed.) is, of course, the situation with Rogozin. It is absolutely unacceptable,» Peskov told journalists in Blagoveshchensk.

On Wednesday the government of Moldova announced the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin persona non grata. According to the Minister of foreign Affairs and European integration Minister Andrei Galbur, the corresponding measure is taken in view of the fact that Rogozin, recently made several statements, which «are denigrating, offensive and hostile character». The Russian foreign Ministry expressed protest to the Ambassador of Moldova. The Ministry said that the announcement Rogozin persona non grata in Moldova could have a severe destabilizing effect on the overall situation in the region.
