The protesters unblocked the traffic on the Kharkiv highway in Kiev after talks with the authorities of the city, reported the press service of Kyiv city administration.

On Wednesday night, protesters blocked the area of the Kharkiv highway in Kiev, was blocked by the operation of trams and buses in the area. Media reported that the residents of eight houses blocked the road, speaking against disabling them with electricity and water since July 31.

«Residents who this morning blocked the highway Kharkiv because of problems with electricity and water supply, unlocked the street – the traffic is restored», — reported the press service with reference to the head of city administration Peter Panteleyev.

According to him, the result of long negotiations with the tenants reached an agreement and developed an action plan to avoid such crises in the future. «Now the supply of these houses is restored. However, in a short time the city authorities together with the assets and representatives of the house of Commons needs to address the problematic issues,» — said Panteleyev.

As reported on the website of the city administration, already at 14.25 GMT was restored movement of buses and trams in the area.
