Two albums of Linkin Park entered the top ten most sold in the U.S. after the death of Bennington

The first and last to date, album by the American alternative rock band Linkin Park was in the top ten best selling records in the past week, according to Billboard magazine after the death of its frontman Chester Bennington.

The seventh Studio album of the band — One More Light (2017) – improved its position in the list of best-selling albums on the Billboard 200 for 13 positions, being in fourth place. As reported on the newspaper’s website, week sales of the album increased by 76% (32 thousand copies). Debut plastic — Hybrid Theory — fell to eighth place in the list of best-selling albums, her sales increased by 141%.

«Both albums went up in the list after the first full week of monitored activity, held after the death of lead singer Chester Bennington July 20,» writes the magazine.

The frontman of Linkin Park 41-year-old Chester Bennington was discovered dead in his home in Palos-Verdes-estates, California. The musician was home alone, his family left town. The coroner confirmed that the cause of death of Bennington was suicide.
