Up to six people increased on Thursday the number of Venezuelan citizens, hiding from the government of Nicolas Maduro in the Embassy of Chile in Caracas, said Chilean foreign Minister Heraldo muñoz.

«Our residence in Caracas came lawyer Luis Marcano, asking for protection of Chile. He already got six people hiding out in the Chilean Embassy,» wrote muñoz in his microblog on Twitter.

Marcano was elected by the National Assembly, a judge of the Supreme court. In July, President Maduro has promised to jail all the judges of the Supreme court, given previously sworn in by Parliament.

In addition to Marcano, the Chilean Embassy are judges Suleima Gonzalez, Beatriz Ruiz, Jose Fernando nuñez, Elenis del Valle Rodriguez, as well as opposition leader, the head of the Social Christian party COPEI, Roberto Enriquez.

Only the Parliament has appointed 13 judges and 20 alternates. The Supreme court even before these assignments are deprived of their legitimacy. Also, the Venezuelan government has started to block accounts of Supreme court judges appointed by the Parliament.

The conflict between Parliament and the Supreme court began after the transfer of justice powers to the opposition of the Assembly, which had been partially deprived of their functions for disrespecting other branches of government. The decision was reversed, but opposition supporters took to the streets demanding the resignation of the members of the court, and hold early elections, and Maduro initiated against the constituent Assembly, considering it an attempt to change the Constitution. According to the latest data, the death toll in protests in the country has exceeded 120 people.

The highest court of Venezuela in their actions in recent months, almost entirely sided with Maduro in his conflict with the National Assembly, endorsing all his decisions and annul the decision of the Parliament.
