The power of the hurricane «Harvey» that struck the coast of the U.S. state of Texas, dropped to the first level, informs TV channel NBC.

Hurricane «Harvey» on Friday was assigned to the fourth degree on a scale, it brought on the coast of Texas wind speeds up to 130 mph (about 210 kilometers per hour).

According to the National center USA for the prevention of hurricanes in Southeast Texas heavy rains fell. The maximum wind speed is now 90 mph (150 kilometers per hour).

Earlier it was reported that the hurricane is moving North-West at a speed of six miles per hour (nine kilometers per hour). The center is located 50 kilometers South-West of Victoria city and 170 kilometers South-East of the city of San Antonio.

«Harvey» has already become the most powerful hurricane in the U.S. over the past 12 years, since the country in 2005 was hit by the storm Katrina, which led to the flooding of New Orleans city in Louisiana.
