Russia at the UN General Assembly in September will raise the issue of the rules of conduct in the field of information, said the special representative of the President of Russia on international cooperation in the field of information security Andrey Krutskikh.

«At the General Assembly the subject to be discussed. But very important decisions will be made in the first week of September, when will meet the BRICS (BRICS summit September 3-5 in the China). There will be published a very interesting proposal. The rules of conduct nobody refuses, and we continue to work towards implementing them,» said cruit in interview to the newspaper «Izvestia».

According to him, the rules of behavior in cyberspace «will begin to take shape» thanks to the efforts of BRICS participating States, the organization of collective security Treaty (CSTO) and the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO), and after that — and the UN.

The upcoming 72nd session of the General Assembly will open on September 12 at the headquarters of the United Nations. The General political debate in the framework of the week of high-level will begin on 19 September 2017.
