The Moscow city court has allowed top managers of «Renova» Boris Vainzikher and Yevhen Olkhovyk, the accused in the transfer of bribes worth about 1 billion rubles to the leadership of the Komi Republic, walking for hours a day, the correspondent of RIA Novosti of Moscow city hall.

«Partially granted a defence motion to allow accused to contact counsel by phone and let them walk for an hour a day,» decided the court.

On Monday, the court extended the arrest of Olkhovyk until 5 December, and wainzinher — 6 Dec. Earlier, the accused were kept in jail, then they softened the measure of restraint.

At the meeting it also became known that the term of investigation was extended until January 2, 2018. In support of the petition, the representative of SK reported that the investigation is necessary to obtain the results of such examination, to carry out other investigative and procedural actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the offense. In particular, we have to withdraw, study and analyze a large number of documents and to examine witnesses. He added that currently, the criminal case materials make up 40 volumes.

In the fall of 2016 Vainzikher and olkhovyk, was arrested in Komi and then brought to Moscow for investigative actions. They are charged with participation in large-scale schemes of corruption relating to bribery of top officials in Komi Republic. A witness in this criminal case is a former head of the Republic Vyacheslav Gaizer, which is parallel, in other cases, he is accused of fraud and money laundering.

The investigation concerns the activities of «T Plus» (before the reorganization — «KES-holding» enters in «Renova»), which provides energy to 16 regions of Russia. The defendants are three of the General Director of «KES»: Slobodin, olkhovyk (managing Director and co-owner of «Renova») and Vajnziher (current CEO «T-Plus»).

According to investigators, during the management of the company of Olkhovyk and wainzinher according to their instructions of higher officials of the Republic were bribed. Instead, according to SK the Russian Federation, officials guaranteed «T Plus» best rates for electricity and General support.
