A case of mass poisoning Shawarma in Novocherkassk, Rostov region, in which the hospital has got more than 50 people, sent to court, have informed RIA of news in SUS’k of the Russian Federation in the region.

In the hospital, residents of the city began to turn from June 5 with symptoms of an infectious disease: fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. All were hospitalized, 52 people. In the material from patients was discovered the causative agent of salmonellosis.

He is accused of committing a crime under part 1 of article 238 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (preparation for sale and marketing of products that do not meet the requirements of safety of health of consumers). Criminal case with the approved Prosecutor’s office of Novocherkassk indictment is directed to court for consideration in essence», — said in the SUCK.

According to investigators, an individual entrepreneur has carried out their activities in rented shopping pavilion «Shaurma on the coals» without observance of sanitary-and-epidemiological requirements. The food is fast food it, according to the investigation, used the food and ingredients are kept in inadequate conditions and with insufficient heat treatment.
