The Supreme court has upheld the removal of the «Communists of Russia» from elections in North Ossetia

The Supreme court upheld the decision of the Stavropol regional court on removal of the party list of «Communists of Russia» from the elections to the Parliament of North Ossetia, told RIA Novosti the representative of the CEC of the Republic.

Earlier it was reported that regional court of Stavropol has removed the party list of «Communists of Russia» from the elections to the legislative Assembly of North Ossetia from-for discrepancies of the signatures on the applications for consent to run and notifications to open accounts more than half of the candidates. The party appealed the court’s decision.

«The decision of the Stavropol regional court remains in force», — said the Agency interlocutor.

According to the court, with a request to exclude from the party list of more than 40 candidates from the «Communists of Russia» appealed to the court of the North Ossetian Republican branch of political party «Communist party of the Russian Federation».
