Blockade of Qatar is not affected gas supplies to other countries, including those who organized the blockade; in addition, the insulation was opened to the state new opportunities for domestic economic activities, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of the country Mohammed bin Abdurrahman al Thani.

«We respect all legal norms in the sphere of the conclusion of all legal transactions and did not interrupt gas supply policy, in particular, countries that organized the blockade. This is another proof that Qatar is fully committed to all its commitments. We know that Qatar is a key country, which ranks first in the production and export of gas in the world,» he said after talks with Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

According to the head of the foreign Ministry of Qatar, «a correct economic policy can minimize the impact of the blockade.»

«We can confidently say that Qatari people are not very affected by the economic blockade. There is no shortage of consumer goods. In the financial sector is also developing at a steady pace. In addition, we see that the blockade was a stimulating factor for many representatives of the financial and other economic sectors of our country. There are new opportunities to develop domestic economic activity,» he said.

The conflict between Doha and the «Arab Quartet» broke out in early June, after Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and interfering in the Affairs of the region, broke off diplomatic relations and closed land and air borders. The decision was later joined by several other States. Kuwait to mediate in resolving the conflict, however, still countries failed to overcome differences.
