Deputy head of the CEC of Russia Nikolay Bulaev praised as «more than high» competition in the by-election of deputies of the state Duma in two single-mandate districts in the Bryansk district on the mandate claim 10 of the party’s candidates, in the Kingisepp — 9 candidates.

Additional elections to the State Duma in single-member districts two — Bryansk and Kingisepp (Leningrad oblast) will be held in a single voting day on September 10. Under the law, a party has the right to nominate only one candidate in one district.

«Just the nomination was initiated by the 11 parties, 10 parties on elections in the Bryansk and 9 parties in elections in Leningrad region nominated their candidates who will fight for those two seats. And I think the competition is more than high,» said Bulaev during the CEC meeting on Wednesday.
