The exhibition «Lyubimov and time. 1917-2017. 100 years the history of the country and man» dedicated to the centenary of the founder of the Taganka Theater, will open on Wednesday the birthday of the Director at the Museum of Moscow, reported the press service of «Fund of development of theatrical art of Y. P. Lyubimov «

«The anniversary of Yuri Lyubimov dedicated a major exhibition «Lyubimov and time» in the Museum of Moscow — it starts the main program of the celebration events in the capital and other cities of Russia and abroad. The project will be located in hall area of over 2 thousand square meters. This is a very modern exhibition space which will host performances, plays, meetings, master-classes», — the press service quoted Director of the Museum of Moscow Alina Saprykin.

In the space of «mirrored corridor,» which transformed the hall of the Museum, visitors can experience the famous productions of Yuri Lyubimov and witness the milestones of her artistic career, shown in the background of events in the history of the country in which he lived and worked. The exposition is built according to the project theatre artist Alexei Tregubov, using modern multimedia technology and revolutionary design, peculiar productions of Yuri Lyubimov. In the exhibition used photos, videos, rehearsals, posters, scenery for plays, fragments of scenography, objects of art from the collection of the Museum of Moscow theatres, from the personal archive of the family Lyubimovich and other private archives.

The exhibition will include performances, performances, screenings, student performances and creative meetings with artists, composers, musicians, Directors, actors, colleagues and friends of Yuri Lyubimov called «Conversations about the Cranberry» in the documentary film Centre in the Museum of Moscow.

The Central event of the exhibition will be the play of Maksim Didenko and artists Workshop Brusnikina, based on the famous Yury Lyubimov «Ten days that shook the world». Performance-the procession will go every evening for ten days from 29 September to 8 October in the exhibition space. The performance will take place with the support of theatre Practice.

The exhibition will run until October 26.
